Reality Vancouver held their first public service on 15 February 2009 and joined the British Columbia (BC) Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches later that year. The church was started by the BC MB Conference Board of Church Extension and Westside Church working with church planter Kristian Martens.
In 2010 the congregation had 26 members and an average weekly attendance of approximately 100.
