Georg Lichti was one of the leading Swiss Brethren preachers who, expelled from Switzerland, settled in the Palatinate, Germany, in 1671. With Valentin Huthwohl he visited all the localities where the refugees had found shelter and set up a register of names which he sent to the Dutch Mennonites. He stayed for a time in Kriegsheim, and then settled in Grossbockenheim.
