The Vaughan preaching appointment near Maple, ON began services in 1962. The congregation originated through the outreach of the Markham-Waterloo Mennonite Conference to families in the Vaughn area.

The services were located at the home of Alvin Baker. Minister Alvin Baker served in the 1960s as a congregational leader. The congregation dissolved in 1964. It has been affiliated with the Markham-Waterloo Conference since 1962. The language of worship was English.
