Friedrich Christoph Nicolai, a friend of Lessing and a literary critic and bookdealer of Berlin, in 1781 published the following tract: <em>Geistlicher Diskurs und Betrachtung, was für eine Gottseligkeit und Art der Liebe erfordert wird </em>by Dr. Gratianus Amandus de Stellis.
