Martine (Martijntken) Dhanins, a daughter of Joost (Jan) van Sleidingen, a member of the congregation of Ghent, Belgium, died there in August 1573 while in prison because of her faith. Her sister Janneken, arrested with her, suffered martyrdom at Ghent on 17 August 1573.
