The Homeland Mennonite Church southwest of Montezuma, Kansas, USA was established in 1982. The congregation started as an extension of the Montezuma Church of God in Christ, Mennonite when the latter's building was becoming crowded.
The Montezuma congregation purchased five acres of land and began construction of a new church for Homeland on the present site in 1981. The new facility was dedicated in March 1982, and Montezuma members who wished to be part of the new congregation were invited to do so over a six-month period.
In 1989 the Homeland congregation built the Homeland Christian School.
In 1995 about 30 members from Homeland helped to start the new Plains View congregation in Plains, Kansas. Members have also been engaged in the Dodge City mission.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Donnie Koehn, Luther Smith, and Lyndon Toews.
