The Steinbach Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Manitoba was built in 1987 with a seating capacity of 300. A Sunday School was started in 1988. In 1993 the membership was approximately 250 and 100 people were enrolled in the Sunday School. The language of worship was German and English.
