Ulrich Perger, a weaver, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was beheaded in [[Wels (Oberösterreich, Austria)|Wels]] in Upper [[Austria|Austria]] on 5 June 1528, with the baker Hans Neumair, the furrier Lienhard Haslinger, the mason Hans Steinbeck, the furrier [[Zacherle, Jörg (d. 1528)|Jörg Zacherle]] of [[Krems an der Donau (Niederösterreich, Austria)|Krems]], the baker's assistant Jörg Kneutzinger, and two cobblers, both named Sebastian; their corpses were burned. The wives of the two furriers, Barbara Haslinger and Barbara Zacherle, were drowned on the following Monday; the execution of Hans Steinbeck's wife was postponed until after the birth of her child.
