Peter Jansz, of Westzaan, Dutch province of North Holland, an Anabaptist martyr, sentenced to death on 16 May 1534, by the Court of Holland and beheaded the same day or the next, probably at Amsterdam. Pieter was one of the Anabaptists who were arrested at Bergklooster, having sailed from Amsterdam en route to Münster in March 1534. He was then apparently released, but soon after apprehended again.
