Joost Ewouts was one of the leaders of the Old Frisian Mennonites in the Netherlands, who together with Jan Jacobsz and others, banned Lubbert Gerritsz in 1589. Joost Ewouts was the son of Ewout Pieters, who was a mayor of Hoorn.
