Hans Mayrl was an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] leader who was seized early in 1530 in or near Petersburg in the [[Tyrol (Austria)|Tyrol]], Austria, together with his wife. On 26 April of that year the judge was reprimanded for being too lenient with the prisoners.
