Willem Timmerman (i.e., carpenter), an Anabaptist martyr, was arrested at Antwerp, Belgium, in 1567 because of Anabaptism and imprisoned in the Steen castle. Having escaped in April of that year he was banished from the Antwerp territory forever; upon his return to Antwerp he was captured and burned at the stake on 12 October 1569. Particulars are lacking.
