Willemken Willem Claesdochter, of IJsselstein, an Anabaptist martyr, drowned on 21 July 1544, at Utrecht, Netherlands. She is charged with belonging to "reprobate sects." Some years previously she had been arrested because of Anabaptist activity, but then after recanting was set free. She was probably an adherent of revolutionary Anabaptism, whose last adherents were executed in 1545.
