Pieter Apostool was chosen deacon of the Zonist congregation in Amsterdam in 1670, and preacher in 1672. In 1674 he signed the Grondsteen van Vrede en Verdraegsaemheijt, which united the Zonist congregations into a Sociëteit. He is the author of Verdedigingh der Vredespresentatie . . . aen Dr. Galenus Abrahamsz en de Seijne gedaan (Amsterdam, 1664).
