Peter Lose was an Anabaptist of Gemünden, Hesse, Germany who was seized at Wolkersdorf with nine Anabaptists, including Jörg Schnabel and Leonhard Fälber, imprisoned at Marburg, and who signed the Bekenntnis oder Antwort etlicher Fragestück oder Artikel der gefangenen Täufer und anderer im Lande zu Hessen. On 10 December 1538 he was cross-examined. "He gave Bucer such loose and frivolous answers that the listeners laughed heartily, and therefore, because he answered so mockingly and disrespectfully nothing special was talked with him." Nothing further is known about him.
