Jaques de Somere (Somer, Sommere), probably an emigrant from [[Flanders (Belgium)|Flanders, Belgium]], was a member of the Reformed Church at [[London (England, Great Britain)|London, England]]. In 1575 he wrote a long letter (found in van Braght's Martyrs’ Mirror) to his mother at Ghent, Belgium, in which he tells the story of the Anabaptist martyr Hendrik Terwoort and his companions in London.
