Jakob (Jakobus) Hegge, of Danzig, hence called Jacobus Dantiscanus, was a follower of Melchior Hoffman, and a participant in the Flensburg Disputation (8 and 9 April 1529). He was later induced to recant by Bugenhagen in Hamburg.
