Klaas (Claes) Toornburg(h) (Torenburg, Toornenburg, also Toorn), a physician and preacher of the [[Waterlanders|Waterlander]] Mennonites in the Netherlands. He is said to have been of delicate health. He was born at [[Alkmaar (Noord Holland, Netherlands)|Alkmaar]] ca. l657, studied medicine at [[Leiden (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Leiden]], and settled as a physician in his home town in 1688, where he also was chosen as preacher of the Mennonite Waterlander congregation.
