Oosthuizen, a village in the Dutch province of [[North Holland (Netherlands)|North Holland]], formerly the seat of a Mennonite congregation. After the Beemster polder had been reclaimed (1608-1612), most members of the Oosthuzen congregation, being farmers, gradually settled on this polder; thus a new meetinghouse was built in Midden-Beemster in 1785.
