M. This important work falls into five divisions: Concerning the Old Flemish or the [[Frisian Mennonites|Frisians]], [[Flemish Mennonites|Flemish,]] [[Waterlanders|Waterlanders]], and United; Concerning the dissensions of some Mennonites with the Reformed clergy; Concerning the [[Collegiants|Collegiants]] or Rijnsburgers; Concerning the government of Friesland, and the Reformed and other clergy in the United Netherlands. The book was translated into Dutch by Marten Schagen and published with corrections and illustrations in Amsterdam in 1745 under the title <em>Tegenwordige Staet der Doopsgezinden of Mennoniten in de Vereenigde Nederlanden [en] een Berigt van de Rynsburgers of Collegianten.</em>

Simeon Friedrich Rues, a German Lutheran clergyman, made a journey through the Netherlands and wrote the book, Aufrichige Nachrichten von dem gegenwärtigen Zustande der Mennoniten oder Taufgesinnten wie auch der Collegianten oder Reinsburger, beyderseits ansehnlicher kirchlicher Gesellschaften in den vereinigten Niederlanden (Jena, 1743). This important work falls into five divisions: Concerning the Old Flemish or the Frisians, Flemish, Waterlanders, and United; Concerning the dissensions of some Mennonites with the Reformed clergy; Concerning the Collegiants or Rijnsburgers; Concerning the government of Friesland, and the Reformed and other clergy in the United Netherlands.
