Bartlime Pur, also called Bartlime Pfister (that is, baker), belonged to the Zürich group around Conrad Grebel and Felix Manz. The letter of 5 September 1524, sent by this group to Thomas Müntzer was also signed by Pur. About him there is no further trace in Anabaptist history. His wife was a member of the first Zürich congregation, baptized by Hans Oggenfuss.
