Jan Jansz van den Berg (Berch) from the territory of Kleve, Germany, an Anabaptist martyr, executed at Amsterdam on 8 July 1539. He had been baptized at Delft, Dutch province of South Holland, in 1538 by Claes "with the crippled hand."
