Hans Georgen (John George), an Anabaptist martyr, a count from Italy, who had joined the Mennonites. He had gone to Germany, but was betrayed, arrested, and brought back to Italy. On the sea trip near Venice, without trial, he was thrown into the sea. This martyrdom took place in 1566.
