Weisenheim am Berg, formerly in the duchy of Leiningen, Palatinate, Germany, is mentioned in the Dutch Naamlijst of 1767 as the seat of a Mennonite congregation of Swiss refugees, with Christian Jotter (Yoder) (later elder until ca. 1785) and Christian Schwartstrauben (until ca. 1785) as preachers.
