The Northdale Mennonite Fellowship in Winnipeg, Manitoba, began services in 1972, and formally organized in 1975. The Northdale Mennonite Fellowship in Winnipeg, Manitoba, began services in 1972, and formally organized in 1975. The congregation initially began meeting in the theater of River East Collegiate in October 1972. The first building was occupied in 1978. Peter Rempel is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Springfield Heights Mennonite Church over desire to use the English language, and the size of the latter church.
The congregation was known as Springfield Mennonite Fellowship until 1975. The congregation merged with Valley Gardens Community Church in 1995 to form Jubilee Mennonite Church at the same location.
The congregation was located at 365 Edelweiss Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
