Lubbert-Gerritsz-volk or Lubbertisten is the name given to a Dutch branch of Mennonites, the followers of Lubbert Gerritsz (elder 1559-1614), which originated in a schism in 1589 in Amsterdam. This group was more usually called Jonge or Zachte or Slappe Vriezen (young, moderate, or lax Frisians).
