The Lakeland Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Dewberry, Alberta, Canada had its beginning in 1977 when the first family moved to this area not far from the Saskatchewan border. During the first years, the congregation often meet with the Neilburg, Saskatchewan, congregation.
The local family heads took turns being responsible for worship services. The third Sunday of each month a visiting minister from a neighboring Holdeman congregation would come to serve. Finally, on 29 November 1994 Cameron Braun was ordained to the ministry.
In September 1983 the congregation bought 10 acres of land, purchased the old Edberg church building, and moved it on to the site. Previously they met in homes or a rented community hall.

In 2019 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Cam Braun and Ray Toews; there were 124 members.
