Michiel de Bleyker, b. 1734, baptized 20 November 1755, at [[Alkmaar (Noord Holland, Netherlands)|Alkmaar]], died 29 August 1788 in [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]]. Michiel de Bleyker, b. 1734, baptized 20 November 1755, at Alkmaar, died 29 August 1788 in Amsterdam. He studied at the Zonist seminary under Prof. Petrus A. Smidt and in December 1756 he became the preacher at Twisk. From October 1763 to May 1781 he was preacher at West Zaandam Nieuwe Huys, and from that date until his death he served the Zonist congregation at Amsterdam.
