Andries Smul (Smuel) was an Anabaptist martyr. The Martyrs Mirror mentions a martyr by this name who was burned at the stake in Amsterdam in 1546 with Dirk Pietersz (Smuel), and also includes from both men an "account and confession of faith," drawn up at Amsterdam for the Commissioners. Andries is, however, not mentioned in the official verdicts, although Dirk Pietersz is; hence the existence of an Andries Smuel is doubtful.
