Shalom Community Church, a member of the Conservative Mennonite Conference, began in the spring of 1984 as an outreach to the London, Ohio Community. Services were held at the 42 Little College Day Care until 1988 when they began meeting at the north-east corner of US Route 40 and State Rote 42, one mile south of I-70. In 2004 the name of the church was changed from Shalom Community Church to London Christian Fellowship.
In 2011 the leading minister was Robert Swartz and the congregational membership was 60.
