The Murrayville Community congregation in Langley BC began services in 1994 and formally organized in 1995. Paul and Betty Fast are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated from outreach by the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches Board of Church Extension.
On 16 September 2001 the congregation began meeting at H. D. Stafford School, 20441 Grade Crescent, Langley. In 2007 the church voted to close.
