The Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship Church is a daughter congregation of the Countryside Mennonite Fellowship which was experiencing crowded conditions. The building near Dorking, Ontario was completed in February 1989, with the first Sunday morning services held on 5 March 1989. Members at Countryside who lived west of a line following Centre Sideroad of Peel Township were encouraged to join Woodlawn. The new congregation formed with 59 members.
The congregation established the Donegal Mennonite Fellowship as a daughter congregation in 2009.
In 2014 the church had 146 members and was a member of the Midwest Mennonite Fellowship. The congregational leaders were Ministers Kevin Bauman, Richard "Rick" Bauman, Edgar Frey, and Mervin Martin, and Deacons Abner Martin and Paul Weber.
