Burkhard (Burkhardt) Aman was "a pious man," according to the Martyrs Mirror, "who lived on the Lake of Zürich," and was imprisoned for his faith for 1.5 years. He escaped unexpectedly and without the knowledge of the government (1639), but died soon after as a result of the imprisonment.
