This Heinrich Plät­scher was married to Katharina Brenneman; they lived at Friedelsheim. Their son Johannes with his family emigrated from Friedelsheim to the United States in 1833. Other relatives moved from Friedels­heim to America in 1841-1855. The martyrs Jacob and Melchior Platzer may have belonged to this family.
