The Reinland Mennonite Church at Stuartburn, Manitoba began services in 1958. The congregation divided from the Sommerfelder when electricity was installed in church buildings. The Reinländer are probably the most conservative Mennonite group in Manitoba.

The Reinland Mennonite Church of Manitoba has one Aeltester and nine ministers for seven congregations. Total membership of the conference in 1990 was 1550. Services are provided on a rotational basis. All leaders are not salaried.
