He also edited the theological writings of van Eeghem: <em>De Christelijke Godgeleerdheid van A.v.E. </em>(Vlissingen, 1710). De Wind was attacked by [[Hemert, Gerardus van (1698-1759)|G. van Hemert]], his Reformed colleague at Middelburg, in <em>G. de Wind uit ziyne verhandeling van Godts algemeene Genade ontmaskert </em>(Middelburg, 1730). |

Gerard (Gerardus) de Wind: minister, scholar, and medical doctor; born 1685 at Vlissingen, died 1752 at Middelburg, married to Elisabeth Beekhoven.
