Abraham Kornelis Kuiper, a Dutch Mennonite minister, the son of Taco Kuiper, was born 20 September 1864 at Amsterdam and died 29 June 1944 at Amsterdam. He studied at the University of Amsterdam and the Mennonite Seminary under Hoekstra and de Hoop Scheffer. On 5 January 1890 he preached his introductory sermon at Rottevalle and Witveen, Friesland. In 1893 he married Henriette Sophia Muller, the youngest daughter of the noted Frederik Muller, who in turn was the son of Samuel Muller.
