Mariental, the name of two villages in Russia. The second village was founded in 1863 in the Alexandertal settlement in the province of Samara. In 1887 the Mennonite Brethren built a church here. In 1905 the congregation numbered 98 souls; in 1913 the membership was 250 souls. They suffered severely during the Revolution.
