Maerten Dirksz, of Limmen near Alkmaar, Dutch province of North Holland, an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake on 25 April 1534 at The Hague or at Haarlem in the Netherlands. He had been with the Anabaptists who sailed from North Holland on 24 March 1534, en route to Münster, but was arrested at Bergklooster.
