Petr (Peter) Chelčický (Chelcicky, Chelciki) was a remarkable Czech Christian leader (farmer, not priest), an apostle of complete nonresistance and advocate of a high type of Christian discipleship, a forerunner of the Bohemian Brethren (opponent of the Taborites), in many respects much like the early Anabaptists. He was the author of numerous books and pamphlets, the chief being The Net of Faith.
