Willem, the husband of Aecht Melis, an Anabaptist martyr, arrested at Krommenieerdijk in Waterland, Dutch province of North Holland, was executed, probably in 1534 (1542, as in the <em>Martyrs' Mirror</em>, is wrong), with nine others.
