Kilian Volckaimer was a furrier of the village of Grosswalbur in Franken, [[Germany|Germany]], who was won by [[Hut, Hans (d. 1527)|Hans Hut]] for [[Anabaptism|Anabaptism]] in the summer of 1526, and became an active Anabaptist traveling apostle. With Hut and other colleagues including Eukarius Kellerman, [[März, Joachim (d. 1527)|Joachim Mertz]], and a certain Sebastian, he traveled along the valley of the Main River and its tributary valleys, inviting men and women to the Anabaptist meetings, where Hut was the chief preacher. With Hut and other colleagues including Eukarius Kellerman, Joachim Mertz, and a certain Sebastian, he traveled along the valley of the Main River and its tributary valleys, inviting men and women to the Anabaptist meetings, where Hut was the chief preacher.
