Snyder County Amish settlement, [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]]. Several families of the "Zook Church" in [[Mifflin County (Pennsylvania, USA)|Mifflin County]], Pennsylvania, moved to Selinsgrove in Snyder County, in 1948, when the majority voted to permit electricity. Among them were Bishop Jacob S. Peachey and two preachers, Jess and Jonathan Peachey. In 1956 the Snyder County group divided.
