According to the minutes (<em>Handelinghe</em>) of the meeting of representatives of Flemish congregations held at Haarlem in 1649, a Flemish Mennonite congregation existed in Koog (Coogh), which, being vacant at that time, was to be served by [[Huisduinen (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Huisduinen]]. Obviously by Koog is meant Valkkoog, not far from Huisduinen in the Dutch province of [[North Holland (Netherlands)|North Holland]].
