Christine Hege, wife of [[Hege, Christian (1869-1943)|Christian Hege]] was born 23 July 1871, in Grombach, [[Baden (Germany)|Baden]], near [[Sinsheim Mennonite Church (Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany)|Sinsheim]], daughter of Heinrich Fellmann, married Christian Hege in 1895. Of unusual intellectual and spiritual gifts, she was an intimate colleague of her husband in his work as a Mennonite historian. Of unusual intellectual and spiritual gifts, she was an intimate colleague of her husband in his work as a Mennonite historian.
