George P. Schultz, an Evangelical Mennonite Brethren pastor and evangelist, was born 30 May 1880 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, a son of Peter Schultz and Anna (Klassen) Schultz. George Schultz graduated from Moody Bible Institute and held degrees from Chicago Theological Seminary and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. From 1908 to 1916 Schultz was superintendent of the Happy Hour Mission in Chicago, and from 1916 to 1951 pastor of Brighton Park Mennonite (Grace Community) Church in Chicago. He held revival meetings throughout the United States and Canada. He served as editor of his Conference paper for many years and published a book and pamphlet. He died 21 October 1957.
