The Reinland Mennonite congregation at Blumenfeld, MB began services in 1958.

The Reinland Mennonite Church of Manitoba has one Aeltester and nine ministers for seven congregations. Total membership of the conference in 1990 was 1550. Services are provided on a rotational basis. All leaders are not salaried.

The congregation divided from the Sommerfelder when electricity was installed in church buildings. The Reinländer are probably the most conservative of Mennonite groups in Manitoba.
