Bartholomeus Potbacker (Bartholomeus Cornelissen), an Anabaptist martyr of Berghen, i.e., Bergen op Zoom, Dutch province of North Brabant, was executed on the market square at Antwerp on 22 November 1555, because he had been rebaptized and persisted in his "wicked opinion."
