Philips Wyntgen van Westbrouck, who was one of the first [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]] at [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], Netherlands, was sentenced to death at The Hague on 10 March 1533, and executed there or at Amsterdam that very day or the next day. His property was confiscated; after the execution, probably by beheading, his head was put on a stake as a deterrent exhibit. Particulars about Westbrouck were not available.
