Leonhard Boltzinger (Poltzinger), an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was seized in 1590 near Julbach in [[Bayern Federal State (Germany)|Bavaria]]. He was taken to Braunau, where he languished in the dungeon for 23 weeks. All attempts to make him recant failed; the most brutal torture was of no avail.
